Kirby Smart, “the guy from Georgia”.
Imagine the level of smugness that will ensue if Smart manages to lose at BDS next year.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23

No biggie since I guess next year doesn’t matter either and we aren’t allowed to pass judgement on Kirby until the 2018 season.

Wait. Are you saying another throw away year?

It won’t matter, Sen. If he manages to lose at Vince Dooley Stadium at Historic Richt Field, the guy from Georgia will no longer be at Georgia. Even Goff had a winning record at the cesspool.

Goff was 5-2 against the nerds, dropping his first two (including their 1990 Scripps Howard trophy year) and then running off 5 in a row, including 3 in a row at the Joke By Coke. Donnan had a losing record against the nerds, but only because of the worst call in the history of the series, which one presumes would have been overturned by replay if it happened now (regrettably, it’s still in the books as a loss). We have owned the nerds for over 50 years, since Coach Dooley arrived, and we owned them at a historically high level from 2001 to 2015.
Racking up losses, much less losing streaks, against GTU sounds like a great way to get oneself fired. But, when you blow a 13 point lead at home in the 4th quarter, you have to listen to Fish Fry bleat smug witticisms for a long, long year. I hope this is a trend I don’t have to get used to enduring.

0-2 will not fire him but there will be a nice size camp fire under the seat.

This is why you never, ever, ever lose to those f’ing nerds. They are sore losers and even worse winners. We need a 51-7 beatdown. Ext year with Eason tossing TD’s well into the 4th quarter.

If you want him to shut up….beat him!

The little brother got in a punch this year. He’s Spurrier without the resume to back it up.

DF I have read a lot of shitty comments about Steve Spurrier on this blog, but that may be the worst.

I saw that play coming and I’m not a coach. PJ gets to be a dick. That’s the price of losing to a group of insecure assholes.

So Johnson reads DawgNation.com?

Tell me again why we play them every year? .a no win situation…

Gosh, by that reasoning, Georgia shouldn’t play Vandy every year, either.

We play them so we can wipe sh*t across their faces.
I say bring in George O’Leary as a consultant just to beat that nerd A** every year.

That’s what you get when you cannot hold a 2 score lead in the last few minutes.

The real lesson is don’t try and run out the clock for the entire 4th quarter with only a 13 point lead. Kirby needs to watch the clip of Bobo cursing loud enough for the TV booth to pick it up from the 2012 (when it was 42-3 or 42-10 at the time) and the offense blew a chance at more points.

One smug SOB.

He has got to be one insecure individual. He wins so infrequently that he has to remind everyone, every so often. 3-6 genius, chew on that.

I hope this asshat keeps opening his pie hole and providing excellent material for years to come. He knows this was his last shot at a victory lap. Savor the flavor coach of the nerds, you will never beat the Dawgs again.
