Losers

I wonder how many coaches agree with this sentiment.

Perhaps if players had the same degree of contractual freedom that coaches do, you might see transfers moving for the same reason.

Spin for sure since they can not move on because they are better and most have trouble moving on if they don’t get playing time.

Because we have never, ever heard a coach bitch about a Grad Transfer going to a better program due to success at a lesser program.

Seth Greenberg, of course, was fired as head coach at Virginia Tech after leading the Hokies to just one NCAA Tournament appearance and five NIT appearances, missing postseason play altogether twice. In more than 20 years of coaching, he reached the NCAAs three times.

Just a little perspective on losers and success and speaking negatively about players who are trying to improve their lot in their athletic careers.

Most coaches who move receive a substantial raise in pay, and players who transfer to play elsewhere also get a substantial pay raise…..wait…..

Yeah, I remember when that “loser” Russell Wilson transferred to Wisconsin from NC State. What ever happened to that guy??
