Like him or hate him. He has become the GOAT since arriving in Alabama. His record against SEC teams is insane. Hell, there are five SEC teams that have never beaten Bama since he became coach in 2007 (Vandy 0-3, Mizzou 0-4, UK 0-5, Tennessee 0-14, and Arkansas 0-14).

I think his condescension really comes alive when he’s talking to the media or during any activity that takes him away from coaching and recruiting. Like most type A sociopaths he can turn on the charm when needed, especially in living rooms.

I, for one, think being a dick to the media is uncalled for. Saban makes, what, 200x what a reporter makes in a year. The least he can do is not punch down.

Bill, that’s exactly it…Saban doesn’t talk smack or practice his quips in front of a mirror before the cameras turn on…he just beats his competition on the field. Like Russ wrote above, the OBS quit on his USC players, coaches, fans, and admin mid-season, that’s why I’ll never attribute one friggin iota of respect to him…FTMF
