This is getting ridiculous.
WAC coaches: we know what you are, we’re just haggling over the fee.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Hey, the BCS big boys put those guys on the outside and now they are just altering the playing field.

I guess that kind of thing is a little bit shady, but I’m not surprised by it; I just kind of assumed most of the coaches from the BCS conferences have done something like that at one time or another. I mean, if you’re a WAC coach, there’s $17 million for your conference on the line, and you’re hearing buzz that Hawaii is still kind of on the edge as far as making the top 12, of course you’re going to bump the Warriors up a couple spots just to be on the safe side. It’s just business.
In terms of righteous indignation, I’m far more pissed off about Tommy Tuberville putting Hawaii above the Dawgs on his ballot than about anything the WAC guys did. I mean, we were all there on November 10. Ears should know better.
