When one of the beat writers covering your team posts this in a “Five Things We Learned From Camp” piece after your final preseason scrimmage…

One Thing We Didn’t Learn
1-Whether Stephen Garcia can be an upper-echelon SEC quarterback.

The gut reaction is yes, but he has to get more consistent. No. 5 looked like a different QB Wednesday compared to the one who was all over the place Sunday.

It really amazes me that Spurrier enters his fifth year in Columbia without having developed a single competent quarterback in that time.
