Over at The Business of College Football, Brian McCormack gives us his first shopper’s survey to this season’s bowl ticket prices.
What’s the deal with the Music City Bowl? I thought Kentucky was invited because ‘Cat fans travel well. So $2.97 gets you an upper level ticket?
I guess it’s basketball season.

If any Dawg fan EVER resorts to something like this, they should be exiled to Gainesville and chained to the front gate of the swamp with a hi-def TV playing their embarrassment over their head…and let justice prevail.
You have been warned.

I am unclear. Does one pay $2.97 or get paid $2.97 to attend this game?

If it were a Georgia Tech home game, you’d pay the $2.97, but they’d throw in a hot dog and a Coke.

A middling SEC team versus an ACC divisional champ… should be a close game. I can’t see why people aren’t interested.

I’m not sure how the whole bowl selection works but the Music City would have been much better off putting Georgia against Clemson. That would have sold a lot more tickets, especially for $2.97.
