Envy and jealousy, mancrush edition

tidefan turns on an inside fastball and crushes the sucker:

1. It’s way early, but who do you think will replace Tim Tebow as Gary Danielson’s man crush?

It’s possible with Mark Ingram winning the Heisman that he’ll take over as the object of Danielson’s stalking affection. That Ingram Sr. is currently in prison only increases the likelihood that it’s Ingy.  Still, breaking up is hard to do, so I’m betting John Brantley is Gary’s new piece.  Why?  Because he’ll give Danielson and Unca Verne the proper seque to discuss Tim Tebow.

Damn, that’s good.

    It’s not a man crush…..it’s a bromance

If loving Tim Tebow is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.

If Aaron Murray impresses at all, I could see it being him.

Can’t you just see Gary telling the broken leg story thousands upon thousands of times?

Although I’d honestly rather have him slobber over a player from another team.

I like Gary a lot. I can’t blame him for the crush considering how Tebow played in SEC and Big games.

He gave Stafford an awful lot of props too.

Remember?: “If you don’t get the Gunslinger (Stafford) then the Gunslinger’s gonna get you.” I actually thought that was pretty cool.

The 4 year Pollack/Green narrative predates Danielson’s tenure at CBS, but it had to be difficult to stomach for the non-UGA viewers. CBS seems to latch on it’s story lines and it doesn’t let go. Of course, those usually revolve around winning programs and players — go figure. For the love affair to be directed towards guys in Red & Black once again, it will require a return to winning SEC titles.
