According to a survey by Harris Interactive Inc., those are the three top demographics for college football fans.

Seems about right.
I recall growing up in Atlanta that the only time I’d see a Falcons decals it would be on the back of a work truck or on the ballcap of a shirtless carpenter/roofer. Nothing wrong with that. It is what it is.
Not to say a lot of other people don’t “pull” for the Falcons. But the Falcons have never penetrated the considerable # of suburban CFB fanatics.

Touchdown Jesus disagrees with parts of the Harris survey. For example, He did not know that He did not like college football but Republicans did.
He is going to do something to fix that problemo. That fix may involve yet another expansion of the Mountain West Conference. Or He may just make each Republican participate in His Coin Toss game because that would be more fun for Him and half the Republicans.

Not a Republican, but conservative. Attending CFB games is the most time I spend in the proximity of Democrats all year. Fortunately, there is no mention of political issues during that time frame as every one takes a break from that reality, regardless of how, or why, we may think it is happening. Sadly, CFB is becoming a controversy unto itself.

Don’t feel alone there, Sam. Although I’m a two out of three guy myself – Southern by birth with a BA and MS (and about to embark on a Ph.D) – but I’m probably even more liberal than Doug (not that there’s anything wrong with that). That said, I hope Richt makes a come back and is successful for a long, long time.
