I have to concur. If nothing else there needs to be a level of severity that evokes a “make-up call” appearance after letting these jagoffs get away with this business with virtually no penalty last year.

Ops I mentioned this in the last blog. Seems OSU’s chickens have finally come home to roost. The NCAA should amend that list of allegations and add the lack of institutional control. If OSU doesn’t get USC sized penalties then the NCAA needs to apologize to USC and drop the charges.

If these are true and then added to all the other stuff, this makes USC pale in comparison. There is far less on the Trojans than what we have seen on tOSU so far. Not even close. I would expect OSU to get hammered much worse than Southern California if all is proven.

To me it just seems like OSU is receiving the brunt of investigation just to ignore the elephant in the room. Auburn should thank their lucky stars that someone is even more ham handed than they are.

This could be not much in the end because $0.00 is just something a clerk types in a form, not unlike the way deeds say the property sold for $10.00, and no one buys a house for that little; it is just a way to keep the price private. But at the same time, offering to show the canceled checks and payment book instead of ‘declining to answer further questions’ would have made the story a lot shorter.

The deals must be off the hook in Columbus! Folks are willing to come all the way from Maryland for the deals. I wonder if the dealerships there have a “fly in and drive home” program for all the people that must flock to Columbus for the deals?
