Can’t lose what you never had.

In what may be the least shocking news development of the weekend, Paul Johnson has come out strongly against oversigning.

I didn’t realize that oversigning had become an epidemic among GT’s recruiting rivals….Citadel, Troy St., Carson-Newman, Wofford and Furman. Hmmm… learn something new everyday.

Someone needs to find and post the audio of Chernoff destroying Johnson on the air over his hypocritical double standard. He’s hoping for a 5-7 year for the Joke by Coke.

  3. Shame on y’all for making light of a courageous and principled stance, even if it is being made by one of our hated rivals.

In the spirit of Johnson’s declaration, I’d like to make one of my own: I will not date, or have any kind of relationship with, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton. None whatsoever! I’m flattered, miss, but seriously, enough is enough!

Similarly, Custer came out strongly against the Indians having repeating rifles.

Johnson went on to say he couldn’t bring himself to recruit players to North Ave because he was afraid for their well-being and career trajectory.

Let’s not beat up Johnson about this even if he coaches for a hated rival and we consider him to be a buffoon. For once he is on the right side of something. I commend him for it.

Johnson went on to say that he’s committed to UNDER signing, just to make sure.
