200 grand a year? Gee, that’s more than Cecil Newton wanted.

Dear Quay, I also work hard. I don’t make $200,000 a year, and I didn’t get a free college education at the institution of my choice. It was also harder for me to get laid than it will be for you once you get to whichever campus you select. While I’m all for a stipend to cover living expenses for college players, and I’m also for college players getting a cut of any money made directly off of their names or images, your figure of $200,000 a year is laughable.

you’re right on the nose, Big Shock. You can negotiate down, but you can’t negotiate up. Maybe Cecil was selling Cam too cheaply; you have to figure a Heisman, an SEC title and a BCS trophy are worth more than a mere 180 large.
