“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23

Never understood why people find it necessary to compare human beings. There are no two alike. They may have similar talents, but we are all unique, thank THE LORD.

Can Johnny Manziel be what Johnny Manziel was a year ago?

No we can never be what we were a year ago. Either we will be better or worse.

What a ridiculous statement. What in the world would lead anyone to believe that Driskell could play at the level of Manziel? Hell what would lead anyone to believe that Driskell could play at the level of John Brantley?? There is absolutely no offensive skill in Gainesville and that defense that they hung their hat on last year lost a lot to the draft. I am obviously looking through red and black tinted glasses, but I just don’t get the preseason love for Florida. S. Carolina I can understand but Florida?

Personal opinion is that Driskell is one of those guys who can do it ALL until it’s at top speed. The SEC, like the NFL, requires the mental and physical ability to process and make decisions at a speed which only a few can accomplish.
Like hitting a major league curve, either you can or you can’t.

Yes, he can become an unknown QB just entering college ball in a twitch of his bad arm. The deviation from that path starts today.
