A couple of Jordan Jenkins quotes for you to sample this morning:
- “We’ve got more energy now, and it’s more unified at this point. We got really caught up last season in trying to know what to do before the next snap.”
- “Just to showcase how we feel like, to really make amends for last year, and showcase what this season is going to be like in the fall,” Jenkins said. “And just to show off all the effort the coaches have put into us, and the effort we put into this program in the last couple months.”
A dose of humility, a little bit of relief in playing a simplified scheme and a hunger to improve. That’s the kind of happy talk I can appreciate.
Bluto, first link is bad.
Or, you drove so much traffic to their site that you crashed it. 🙂

LOL, whatever, we know you are the Drudge Report of the college football world. Toss up an unsuspecting link, and crash the whole site! (and I’m sure you just love being compared to Drudge, haha)

Comparing Bluto to Matt Drudge is almost as bad as calling him Dick Cheney and accusing him of owning Haliburton stock. I’m sure he just melted, so grab the broom stick.

Jenkins is right, today may a little hokey as a game but it is the time for them to show we have turned the corner on defense. I don’t know if the fans, or players, need that assurance but the D has been the weakest link for years now. Jenkins is in a position to play a significant leadership role this year, sounds like he is stepping up to that. Let it rip guys, we are starving for a reason to feel giddy about 2014. Of course if you dominate the game, we will all panic about the O and begin blasting Bobo, Friend, and Mason. You can’t have it all but I am tired of sleepless nights over pass defense and getting beat outside due to our contain men biting on inside fakes and reverses.
