There is just something epic about this play… no, not just UCF pulling out a win on a last minute Hail Mary, but one of ECU’s defensive backs starting to unbuckle his head gear before the catch is made.
At least he made it easier to read his reaction after the catch.

Well its pretty obvious why three of those guys are db’s and not on offense. One actually ran out of position to allow the catch. His friend and he teammate, who plays in B-hand, must’ve had money on that one!

That’s funny..but I actually think the receiver incidentally unbuttoned his mask as he runs by…and the DB is just reacting to grab the loose strap….or make sure the helmet doesn’t continue to come off

I hate to say it but it reminded me of the 2013 auburn game. But no loss hurts like the 2012 seccg game. But getting back to the ecu game…they had the game won,..but didn’t run enough time off the clock with only a 1:40 left
