Premature celebration

There is just something epic about this play… no, not just UCF pulling out a win on a last minute Hail Mary, but one of ECU’s defensive backs starting to unbuckle his head gear before the catch is made.

At least he made it easier to read his reaction after the catch.

Lookin’ good, brah.

Turned that one off early, looked like O’Waisty had it bagged.

Well its pretty obvious why three of those guys are db’s and not on offense. One actually ran out of position to allow the catch. His friend and he teammate, who plays in B-hand, must’ve had money on that one!

That’s funny..but I actually think the receiver incidentally unbuttoned his mask as he runs by…and the DB is just reacting to grab the loose strap….or make sure the helmet doesn’t continue to come off

Maybe that play will take some airtime away from last years auburn game. Btw UGA still haven’t coached players in coverage to knock down a 4th down pass.

    Misery loves company.

Its kinda like Georgia metaphorically unbuttoning their chin straps after Arkansas did not get it done.

I think if Bart Beenema could not beat Mizzou with a beard, we ought to take up a collection to buy him a razor.

Was at the game, that play sucked what air was in the stadium immediately out of it.

Wow, It appears the two defensive backs from ECU, John Harry-Cletus and “Digger” Drey Matthews have distant cousins that were teammates on an SEC team. Small World!

  9. I hate to say it but it reminded me of the 2013 auburn game. But no loss hurts like the 2012 seccg game. But getting back to the ecu game…they had the game won,..but didn’t run enough time off the clock with only a 1:40 left

  10. Man, fuck George O’Leary. I’m sorry, but that guy is the worst.

At least they were attempting to knock it down. How do three players all misjudge that ball?

  12. Very entertaining listening to a former ECU coach discuss this on the drive home today.
