“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Hate it for him, but our OL might actually get him killed.
Get/stay healthy, Nick and get paid on Sundays.

Praying for healing for Chubb.

When he went out vs. Ole Miss you could see the trainer working on him and touched his ankle and Chubb really grimaced in pain. My interpretation of what happened next was that the trainer said he was done for the day and Chubb’s angry response was “fuck that!” Not an expert lip reader, but it was pretty clear.

Chubb will be back and, hopefully, with a vengeance. Tenn is doing without 3 so that sorta evens things up (if we take advantage on O).
There was another indication of a loss – to Cojones disease; Chip thinks today is game day. Think it would aggravate his condition if I sent him a cookie?

We are gonna get our asses handed to us tomorrow Cojones.
You’ve never heard that from me before. But I’d tell kirby. You are pushing a round peg into a square hole with that O line.
Also all the the Richtophobes can STFU…and enjoy the ride.
Oh ….”Sports and Grits is dead” wonder who will replace them in year 2 of kirby.
Sigh.

I’d like to see more of Michell, Harrien, Douglas and Holyfield and let Chubb get healthy.

As you’ve doubtlessly seen, Online Athens and Saturday Down South are reporting that Chubb’s availability is going to be decided at game time.

I’m not saying that Chubb’s ankle isn’t injured but I also doubt there is any real motivation for Chubb to get back out there given the way his talents have been minimized by the current coaching staff.
