We’ll always have the Laner and his smart mouth.

I’m not really big on assistants who humiliate themselves in front of everyone.
It was funny because it’s Kiffin. But really, I’m on Kiffin’s side here. Saban is very unprofessional and whiny at times. But he’s a genius, so he gets away with it. Junior did a pretty good job with that offense.
I agree. Kiffin is a bag o’ crap but it bugs me how we let coaches get away with things that would be frowned upon in any other setting but the military. Sure, bosses treat people like crap in all professions but we don’t give them a pass on it.
“Look at Judge Smails giving it to that caddy! Best judge in the game for a reason!”
If it were other coaches besides Kiffin, ok, but it was just Kiffin.
Side note: 13 words in that fragment. Samsung tried to turn 8 of them into something else.
It was interesting to watch the Bama sideline at the Playoff game in the Dome. Pruitt was nice and calm. Lane on other hand…..
Working for the Kiffin Kancer is humiliating in and of itself.
The point I picked up on in the article is that the Kiffer seems to have learned more than Kirby about being a head coach now. Notice that he has turned the offense over and practices for him are now boring but he can spend more time with units other than the offense. Would that Kirby would trust Tucker enough to do the same.
Lane had been a head coach 3 times before Kirby was a head coach for the first time. I certainly hope he knows more about being a head coach.
We all love to slam the Laner, but I’d bet that someday he will be a very successful HC at a big program.
Let’s ask Lane’s wife if Lane humiliated her with keeping their marriage vows
“The SEC championship, that’s a milestone for the team,” (Aaron) Davis said. “That’s one of the goals we set before the season started. … Guys want this game bad.”– AB-H, 12/1/17
