Wait… you’re telling me that with everything on the line for his supposedly beloved South Carolina tomorrow, Steve Spurrier would rather be at a game where the Gators are trying to beat Kentucky for the umpteenth time in a row?
Priorities, priorities…
Can’t blame him, he wants to see a game.

He could give two shits about Carolina.

Maybe not two shits, but he gave $$$. But I’m sure that’s just so HE could win.

I don’t think it’s gonna happen, but I would love to see UK pull one out …….

No one with any sense voluntarily goes to Columbia for anything. It is truly one of America’s worst cities.

You go through Columbia on the way to Charleston. It’s OK as long as you keep moving.

My bachelor party was in Columbia about 15 years ago. Not bc we wanted to but because it was the halfway point for all my friends. I must say that the strip clubs we went to were absolutely amazing! I’ve been to most the around Atlanta but My God, the dancers and bartenders were unbelievably hot. Of course. that was 15 years ago so…

Do they want the quitter to show up at a USCe game? I figure they’ll eventually treat him like a Confederate monument.

Dude’s a Gator. He can have affection for Carolina and I’m sure he does, but in his heart he’s a Gator. While I can’t respect that, I can respect his devotion to his Alma Mater.

He can’t show his face after this.

He already had one 50 point scoring ass whipping of the Chiks by UGA seared into his memory, why would he show up to see the sequel?

This^^ .81. He figures Georgia will win and he doesn’t want to be there..esp in front of the cameras where his last game against UGA might be bought up.

Isn’t he a Gator Ambassador or something? Or did he relinquish that when he became coach for Orlando?

Spurrier has ALWAYS been a Gator. he DID have a problem with Foley, but once Jeremy left he could go back home.

Only the chickens would bring a former player, coach and former school hall of fame member and current program ambassador from one of their division rivals to participate in their Spring game.
