I think we should have a blackout for 2019 game in Atlanta- which I predict will be Johnson’s last game on Tech sideline.
How awesome would it be to have their stadium about 2/3 black as we send Johnson into retirement?

Those uniform combination tweets are all the rage these days. There were lots of them at the beginning of the season announcing which cobinations the teams would be wearing for each game.

Red and Black is great but red and gold/yellow is my favorite. Never change USC. That said I really love OU’s alternate crimson and cream unis.

Cannot speak to ‘87 but I hit campus in ‘89 and am positive no red pants since then.

Thank God. Those were almost as ugly as the Power Ranger uniforms. I don’t really begrudge the ugly uniforms we wore against Florida that year (the original fake juice?). In films from that game, it looks like Florida is whipping up on Grambling.

Agree on red pants. And I could be wrong, but I thought I recently saw a photo of Hines Ward in black pants w/ red and white stripes. 20 years later I can’t remember if this was a thing. Anyone recall?

Dan Lebatard spent 7 minutes crushing GT and PJ’s offense today. Called it the “Amish offense”….refusing to get into the 21st century and employ the forward pass. Brutal. Then the guys on 680 spent a segment highlighting it and mentioning everything consistently said here on th regular. Good times.
