Man, this is some kind of exodus from Tuscaloosa now.
Maybe Nick will take a run at Eddie Gran.

Man, this is some kind of exodus from Tuscaloosa now.
Dan Enos' departure, on the heels of Mike Locksley, Brent Key and Josh Gattis, leaves Nick Saban with only two offensive assistants from the 2018 staff: Running backs coach Joe Pannunzio and tight ends coach Jeff Banks #RollTide

UPDATE: Now this is some funny shit.
When hiring an OC, Nick Saban has made a habit of bringing in former head coaches with baggage. So come on down … Bobby Petrino?

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Wonder if Bama goes after Sarkisian.

That probably means Alabama would have to pay him.

It hasn’t slowed Saban down yet, but – damn – how many coaches can one program lose every year and there not eventually be a toll to pay?
Or (Occam’s Razor here), maybe most assistants are just space fillers.

At this point, this can only mean Hugh Freeze is on his way to Tuscaloosa. Right?

Exactly.

This is the major downside to the early signing period. Wonder how many recruits would’ve had second thoughts?

If Kirby had chosen to make Enos the sole OC, then a clean swap would have been a possibility.

And I speculated in another post that Hurts may consider following Key to tech. My money’s on him following Enos now.

Any chance Nick says: I’m out? Or already has and that’s why they’re all running?
Or does no one what to put up with his shit after 4 TD loss?

I heard its possibly Miami now for Hurts…..We shall see soon with Enos there too.

I guess Enos wasn’t going to land the OC job at bama like many of us assumed.

Its crazy to me how similar things are in Athens and Tuscaloosa right now. 4 important underclassmen declare for the draft and a highly touted dual threat qb transfers because the starter has a death grip on the job all after a bad loss to end the season. Meanwhile assistant coaches are bailing left and right. But supposedly while there are problems in Athens i bet the talking heads would never say the same about Bama.

What problems in Athens?

According to our fan base and this blog there’s always a problem in Athens.

I think Bobby Petrino would be an excellent hire for Saban and that’s why I hope it doesn’t happen.

Very good hire for Miami.

Alabama has enough money to outbid New Spring Church for lil ol’ Clemson’s offensive staff.
Already knowing the nutrition program is just an added bonus.
