With 2019 in the books, I thought I’d take a moment to mention that GTP generated 5,938,823 hits last year, second-best total in the blog’s history. (No, tops doesn’t go to 2017, but to 2015, which goes to show that bad news sells. Always.)
Anyway, this blog’s a teenager, but is still going strong, at least in a big fish in a small pond sense. I still enjoy spouting off and as long as you guys enjoy reading it, I guess we’ll stick it out a while longer.
I appreciate you all and here’s hoping there a big reward coming to all of us in the near future. Not that deserve’s got anything to do with it, but we deserve it.
Thanks for the blog

Been lurking a few years and only recently had time to comment. I truly appreciate your blog as a clearinghouse for Dawg football content. Saves me a great deal of time from wading through shit articles on the net.
Keep up the good work.

Congrats again, Senator. I still don’t get how you do this and, at the same time, have a law practice.
Happy and prosperous new year to the GTP community!

A closing RE practice has a little more flexibility in a day than other types of law firms. Personally, I keep hoping that my RE law practice will give me an excuse to work with the Senator on a deal some day

You do a great job. I look forward to reading daily.
On another note, Minnesota won 11 games for the first time since 1904 (beating Auburn makes it that much sweeter).
We should be thankful to be so spoiled that a 12-2 SEC East Champ and Sugar Bowl winner feels a little disappointing. Count your blessings, Dawgs fans. These are the good ole days.
Happy New Year to all.

It’s a daily reader. Good job. Thank you. Best improvement has been the playpen because it has removed the astute political commentary.

Thanks again for running this blog the way you do. The amount of posts and content generated from a solo operation is impressive. You and Seth are pretty much the only UGA-related people that I consistently read. Keep up the fantastic work, we appreciate it!

I agree with the Reverend. Seth an the Senator are the only two I read consistently as well. I do still miss David Hale writing about the Dawgs.

I hope your final post is a 100,000 days away because I will be worse than bonkers when that happens.

Always my favorite read, I think even without being a Georgia fan I’d come here for the interesting articles/takes on the ncaa stuff and football in general, but adding in Georgia love on top of it makes it amazing. We’re all lucky to have this place to come to. If there’s anything we can do to make it a little easier on you make sure you ask, I’m guessing there’d be plenty to jump in. Thanks as always!!

It’s hard to believe but I’ve been stopping by here daily (at least!) for ten years. TEN years. That’s 2 high school graduations, two college graduations, half-a-dozen promotions, 3 different employers. Marl Richt, Mike Bobo, R, 27, 7, financial independence, 2015 UF, the list goes on and on.
Thanks so much Senator for giving us the coolest blog ever. Another really big reason it’s great to be a Georgia Bulldog….

I like the idea of a few Lexicon entries on the back, do it in grey with red or black lettering like the TEAM/me t-shirts the Dawgs from the Herschel era wore.

Hah same. I can’t say GTP is great for my productivity, but I love reading it daily and getting different perspectives from the senator and the commenters, most of whom know a lot more about football than I do. Living out on the west coast, the blog helps me feel closer to back home.
I’ll also add/request that Senator does more podcasting guest appearances next season. If you haven’t heard him on the Chapel Bell Curve Podcast, I’d definitely encourage you to take a listen.

Pretty much the same here. I basically use Twitter and this blog for Dawg news and mostly just this blog to talk Dawgs. I used to have memberships to forums and recruiting sites but they mostly became unbearable and not worth the time and money.

Congrats on past, current and future success. I’ve mostly enjoyed this place even if I kinda disappear during the off-season. I care about all things UGA but football is where it’s at and I’ve found not thinking/talking about it as much during the off-season makes it not quite as long. It’s really not even a conscious decision.
