Will Muschamp is already working for Georgia. In exactly what capacity remains unclear.
The former South Carolina head coach has been entering and exiting the Bulldogs’ highly-secure football complex daily this week and parking in a space at the Butts-Mehre Building. What he has been doing in the hours in between is unknown.
Probably trying to find out what happened to that cannon shot…

I mean look, Boom’s gonna be living that Booch-Buy-Out-Life for the next three years, so why not do it where his son goes to school and is the walk-on scout team QB for the next three years?
Why not try to repair the burned bridges with Bulldog Nation? And then when Lanning gets an offer to be a head coach sometime in these next three years he can step in and do what he’s truly good at doing: coordinating a defense.
I’m happy to have Boom here, and so should everyone else. Time to let bygones be bygones and welcome a DGD back into the fold.

Agree. He may have gone to UGA but his professional career is as a football coach. His loyalty has to be to his employer! I guarantee you there are many former UGA players coaching at competitors who bad-mouth the Dawgs! It’s their job!

I never could understand people getting pissed off at Pollack for picking against Georgia.
Wanting someone to win is different than thinking they will win. Everyone hated Holtz and called him a homer.

I will never understand the desire to have Will Muschamp as Georgia’s defensive coordinator. Everywhere I can think of he has ever served as DC, UGA has absolutely TORCHED his defense at least once. The only exception was at Texas. And that’s only because Georgia and Texas never played while he was the DC there.

He’s also been 2 places that have all the resources that exist in college sports and was terrible. About the only decent thing I can say is his LBs at UF after he left were pretty good.

Sakerlina doesn’t have all the resources in CFB. They are lacking in the most important resource of all: in-state talent, and then they are also the second-best program in their state. Let’s not pretend Sakerlina = Floriduh because you don’t like Boom. That’s not fair play.

Well, you’re wrong. SC updated their facilities and were whooping our ass. They beat us in every single upgrade. Whipped us in baseball so fast and hard it hurts. And they can get the same people that go to Clemson. The same “in state talent” is the same talent that goes to Clemson and Georgia! There’s every single opportunity at SC. But you’re just making excuses for a sorry ass

In 2019, Georgia produced thirty-six 5 and 4 star players. South Carolina produced five.
What you describe above doesn’t refute anything I said about in-state talent. They beat us three years in a row in the early 2010’s due to better coaching.
Sakerlina is nowhere close to the same level or school as Floriduh or Georgia. Period.

Kirby needs to calm his ass down on the sidelines. Being fiery is one thing. But having to employ a “get-back” guy is simply ridiculous. There’s no way he can make his best decisions when he can’t even control his ability to stay behind the lines.

Word. And whats his biggest weaknesses? Getting caught in the moment, clock/timeout management, end of half management, calling the trick play timing management. All things that require you to elevate a few thousand feet.

Hmm. Been a good recruiter, position coach and DC. The only possible negative I can think of is that these buddy/former teammate hires have turned bad for some coaches, though, Kirby seems the type to make decisions he believes are best for Georgia.
It’ll be interesting to see if he stays as an analyst or gets a position. If he’s gonna be an analyst, I hope he knows his role and doesn’t interfere with Lanning. Even as an analyst, he could be very valuable in recruiting and coaching. Plus, as mentioned previously, his son is here and he shouldn’t be hurting got money. I have to think this can only be a good move for Georgia. For now.
