    I look forward to the “decided schematic advantage” Florida will now enjoy over its rivals. Plus, the cheesburgers should be heavenly

      Weis to the left of him and Meyer to the right… I tell you what, Will Muschamp sure doesn’t lack for self-confidence.

        Perhaps I am a pollyanna, but I worry less about Meyer than I do about Weis. I sense that Meyer will stay in the background. He does not have aspirations to be the next HC at Florida or anywhere else.

        However, I am not sure Weis will be content to be just the OC. I worry that he will undercut an inexperienced Muschamp to enhance his own image. I think Muschamp will need to establish authority early and often.

          I think, as much as I dislike Meyer, that he is taking a Mike (that guy at Duke) sabbatical on his payout dime, and he’ll be back as soon as he gets that heart and head bruise issue under control. He’s too young to quit.

          Well if reports are correct Ole Charlie and the KC HC were not getting along and it was ego problems. Now maybe Charlie just intimidated him since Charlie was his boss at NE but Charlie never stuck me as a small ego guy. The best thing Will can do is just be hands off on the O and give Charlie all the praise.

        BTW, Pat Dooley just tweeted that Meyer has agreed to an ESPN contract. I imagine that will keep him busy

    There is no way a guy with Weis’s arrogance and ego and a guy with Muschamp’s temper don’t have a major confrontation at some point.

    You know Senator that was the first thing I thought when reports were coming out about Weis.

    Between Dooley in TN and Muschamp in FL things looked like they were going to be a little to civilized.

    It remains to be seen how often we get to hear an arrogant sound bite from Grimace.

    I don’t get it. Take an OC job at Florida so your kid can work with a football staff right out of high school?

    “His son, Charlie Weis Jr., is a senior in high school and wanted to work on a football staff. He will get the chance to do so at Florida.”
