That’s mighty big of him: Fulmer tells ESPN that he’s “open to discussing” the Tennessee AD job.
I’m sure that clears up a lot of uncertainty people in Knoxville had about whether he was interested in the position.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
But I presume ESPN went out of its way to ask him that question, so it’s not 100% Fulmer saying the obvious.

If he wasn’t politicking he could have said no comment, but they had a dozen hot and he thought they might take them away.

If he was not politicking for the job why would he “go over there” (apparently uninvited) to “spend time” there mulling over what was in everybody’s “best interests” in the first place? I hate disingenuous people. Just say you are after the job asshole.
