You need nourishment.
- This is what passes for optimism about Tennessee’s defense after spring practice.
- Mark Richt isn’t just worried about complacency with his starters. He’s worried about the back-ups feeling like there’s nothing to compete for.
- Well played, UMass.
- Spurdog has a question. Richt has an answer. We need to return the favor this year, obviously.
- An app for inbreeds? This could have major consequences for dating in [insert redneck state of choosing].
- Red panties are back, babee! (h/t John Infante)
- Notre Dame and NBC extend their TV deal another ten years.
- Cam Cameron has never considered football coaching work. Sure. That’s why he’s being paid $3.4 million dollars over the next three years to coach.
- I don’t normally indulge in bikini shots, but, hey, she’s a SEC football fan.
Something I never thought I’d say. It’s hard not to like Steve Spurrier these days. He’s not afraid to say what he’s thinking, his smack talk is hilarious, even when it’s directed at us, and, I think he’s showing he’s a damn good coach, not just a former offensive mastermind. Funny how not being at Florida can make a man more likeable. That’s not something You will ever hear me say about Urban Meyer. There will always be some measure of hatred for Spurrier… But now he’s too entertaining not to like.

I like him better when he’s not being a whiny b*tch about schedules.

May I recommend a delightful Spurrier re-education course taught by our very own macallenlover? Besides, Steve never asks a question to which he does not know the answer: it was Jadaveon.

Honestly I respected him more at Florida than I do now. Back then he was brash, cocky, etc. but he didn’t whine about things like schedules.

Yes, that entertainment factor goes a long way.

Maybe I’ve been stuck in the gutter with law school exams, but it was news to me in the Emerson article about KCP leaving for the NBA. Fox is never going to have a full cupboard of talent to cook with

Yep, it’s tough. I don’t know how you get over the hump as a b-ball coach trying to rebuild (or build) a program. I like Fox and would like to see him get it done.

Difficult to accomplish unless you recruit like Calipari or already have name recognition. Sad too because Georgia’s basketball talent base is not lacking in anyway.

“Dick Van Dyke tweets for help health issue, undiagnosed ‘cranial throbbing'”
I’m no psychiatrist, but seeing the above-referenced link after a thorough examination of ‘Glee’s’ Becca Tobin in Maxim: ‘I’m more of a SEC football fan’ spread, I immediately diagnosed the latter half of Dick’s problem

Maybe not but at least you are trying to help. Who knows…. what with grade inflation and social promotion you may be closer to one than you think, 😉

“There’s a shortage of psychiatrists in this country”
I’m no statistician but four out of five medical doctors think that those who specialize in psychiatry already have disorders of the mind but it’s good pay if you can get it, “At present, the state of Nevada pays Viner an annual salary of $176,902”

Holy Chimichanga! I could take her to a few spots in LA where they only speak Spanish and no English on the menu. The food taste in those places have only been duplicated in the Mexico countryside. I didn’t go there, but a friend’s wife taught Spanish and always found the restaurants wherever they visited in Mexico. He had a photo of her standing in the kitchen of one and it had a dirt floor, near midtown Mexico City the way he described it.
Ay, Chihuahua, missed my timing for the Mexican food-eating Dawg/SEC lover. There oughtta be a law, Blutarsky. She certainly is a peach.

The opportunity for Tennessee’s defense to improve next season is nowhere! I can only hope that UT remains an afterthought through the remainder of my life. You can add Auburn to that list as well!!!!

That’s an excellent result for an imaginary football team.

Senator, I’d always suspected you were a TPM reader and was pretty sure you were a Balloon Juice commenter, too, but now I know. Just don’t mix the ‘tics with the football and you should be fine, because you do a fine job on the football front. Mixing ‘tics will just ‘tic off a good part of your commentariat, who are nice people as long as we’re not talking ‘tics.

Sure, there’s nothing wrong with the question, “Are you now or have you ever been a TPM reader or a BJ commenter?” Freedom! after all has to be protected.
But the last thing people need right now is more restriction on our entitlement to apps regardless of sourcing. Do we suffer from too much concentration? Do our cousins appeal to us too much? It’s time to annihilate our attention span.
We need moar apps of mass distraction. We’ve got to have moar apps of mass distraction. Somebody’s got to be on that wall. If nobody else volunteers to pull midwatch duty, what right do we nice people have to bitch about if a Librarian like Bluto stands watch?
