Confused about where the SEC Network is being shown by your carrier? Here’s a handy finder you can use to find the channel.
And here’s what the programming looks like for the first two weeks. (Basically, stay off the SEC Network at 3PM, and it won’t be too bad.)
What kind of deranged human would watch Finebaum on television at 3 pm?
The coveted Alabama trailer park demographic?

pm is a great slot for Finebaum. Springer is on at 2 pm and County Law comes on at the conclusion of Finebaum. Their ad slogan should be ” must wretch TV”

PSA is a blood test used in conjunction with a finger wave. The commercial is the PSA and PF is the finger.

I bet the screeners give the Bama trash about 2 weeks before they cut them off Finebaum. That Springer format gets tiresome and would be deadly for ratings.

Sure hope you’re right.
I wonder if there’s a way to contact ESPN to complain about the FBomb Alabama trailer trash, which they obviously are trying to feature. I loathe the thought of them representing the SEC fan base. Because they don’t.

The AJC is wrong for Comcast re the 740, it is 792, 1738 is also correct. Both HD feeds.

Thanks Senator and while I’ve been using this channel finder site for a while, unfortunately, living up here in the “far north” (Charlottesville, VA), Comcast has not assigned a channel(s) for this area yet nor the Northeast US. I was told last night, by a Comcast associate, that they won’t have the SECNetwork in this area until August 21st, at the earliest, but I’m not optimistic. I was so happy to see Comcast reach an agreement with SECNetwork/ESPN but was always afraid it was to good to be true for those of us outside the SEC States. I’m curious if all other areas in the Country, outside of the SEC States, are receiving the Network or is it just this area? It’s been very difficult to get a straight forward answer from Comcast although they’ve said they will call me back today with further information but I’m not holding my breath.

Well I live on St. Simons Island. In the state of Georgia and in the heart of Dawg country. I have Comcast/Xfinity and apparently we don’t have an assigned channel just yet either. So there’s that. I think getting a straightforward answer from Comcast about anything, no matter where you are, is pretty much like finding a unicorn.

Everything I have seen requires providers to launch today (8/14/14). Maybe Comcast got an exception but that seems strange that they would.
As far as whether areas outside the SEC foot print are getting the network they are for the most part. There are some exceptions for some providers based upon technical limitations they may have that gives them an out to not offer it.
