Way back when, my sister planned her wedding over a home game…….A HOME GAME. I told her I wouldn’t be there………she went to our Dad who has been a season ticket holder since early 50’s. His response. “I’m not going either”.
Wedding scrapped. HA.

Perfect. Not a fan of formal wedding ceremonies anyway but for God’s sake, there are some 340 other days of the year to choose. Be considerate of others, good lesson for young Southerners to learn.

Week 2 should make for some interesting travel talk in the airport as both the ducks and beavers head to the state of Michigan.

My sister got married in a state far away on the day of the Pulpwood vs Bama game. My esteemed father rented a bus to take us….to Birmingham.
My Dad has been passed to the great Arches in the sky since 2000. My sister still bitches about the no-show at her wedding. She’s right, of course, but man, what a great game.

Our games that made the list:
Alabama
South Carolina
Florida
Missouri
Auburn
Georgia Tech
Our games that did not make the list: (Tennessee and their peers from the national perspective.)
