“You have to let the bad make you better, any way possible.”

Boy, is this familiar territory.

Having been beaten soundly by Alabama 38-10 on Saturday, Georgia knows the margin of error is awfully thin. Another loss sets it back in the race for the SEC East, especially considering Florida is still unbeaten with four more conference games on the schedule remaining.

Therefore, this week’s game against Tennessee is much more important all of a sudden.

“That’s something we’ve talked about; that’s true,” sophomore running back Sony Michel said. “We really have no room for another loss. We’re not looking for another loss. I don’t think we’ll have another loss this season.”

The only difference this time is it’s not the usual South Carolina loss the team is having to work around.

Did we really think we were going undefeated? Your never as good as you think you are or as bad as you look. We played a bad game against a good team and got our collective feelings hurt. This game was always more important that last Saturdays disaster. We were hoping to beat Alabama to make it less so, but we are where we are. Bulldawg nation man up and move on, America was better when we didn’t always need someone to blame for our problems.

    • Agree with you, Farmer. I must have said a hundred times preseason, “if we can split the games against the west, we will be in good shape”. Or something to that effect. So , here we are.

ps. I never thought this was a championship season.

how well did the dogs play in columbia, sc in 2012? That year seemed to turn out ok. we really blow things out of proportion sometimes.

We’ve still got our eastern crap the bed somewhere on the schedule (Florida ’14, Vandy ’13, USC ’12, USC ’11)

And its all still in our hands. We don’t have to hope for anyone to lose, like Alabama does.

At some point we need to realize that our talent level is much closer to Bama’s than it is to UT, UF, Mizzou, or anyone else on our schedule. We should be playing close games with Bama and blowing out these other teams. Winning the East for us (on paper) should be a yawner, kind of like being the tallest midget. How do we increase our level of play? How can our high school studs begin looking like it? Our coaches need to answer that question now; it is time to dominate the remaining teams on our schedule and stop the incredible underachieving we saw last week.
