Apparently Shaq Wiggins has yet to fit in to the “culture” in Knoxville.
I’m not sure if that’s a knock on him, or to his credit.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
How long will it be before he transfers to a Big-12 school?

Clearly, they’re not yet appreciating Shaq’s personality, letting him be him.

Should’ve never left Louisville. No upside to the move and he looks like a management problem.

Wiggins is doing his best to assimilate to Tennessee’s culture, but he just doesn’t think his sister is that attractive.

I guess Shaq is not a Champion of Life.

I recall him sending out a negative public message in August of his freshman year in Athens because he wasn’t on top of the depth charts. The season had not even started and he was whining. Good riddance, one of those cancers no team needs.

If I’m not mistaken, didn’t our former ILb Tim Kimbrough do something similar to that as well?

Yes – Leading returning tackler was upset he was not just being handed the starting job when Kirby came in… and was promptly encouraged to hit the road if he didn’t like it.
This is why I was surprised SW chose UT and not to follow Grantham to Miss St.

I think Wiggins was worse, he hadn’t even been to a class yet. Hadn’t earned the time, just beaten out in practice. And it wasn’t like he wasn’t going to get his chance (we had no experience at DB if I recall), and when he did we saw why he wasn’t chosen. What an immature ego.

This has to be some type of Guiness Book of World Record for “Tennessee” and “culture” used in the same sentence. Looking forward to the entry in the GBOWR museum in Gatlinburg.

I am not surprised there is a problem. He followed Grantham around this is his first time playing not under him.

“And I think when you transforms into the culture and how he plays, then his talent can marry up to allow him to go do that.”
If I hadn’t been listening to broke-ass english coachspeak, I wouldn’t have any idea what he said.
