“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
He sounds nervous as heck. I hope, for his sake, he gets some good TV coaching.
But he sure has the look for TV. Best wishes to him. He’s a DGD.

Did his voice ‘squeak’? 🙂

Not as bad as Tiny Tears, the GPOOE. I’d rather listen to Aaron Murray with laryngitis than this goober any day.

Aaron Murray nervous in a big moment? Surely you jest!

Not half as bad as Pollack or Desmond Howard when they started off. It takes time to get comfortable in front of a camera.

He’s always had such an awful delivery. Sounds like he has 2 marbles and a cup of saliva in that mouth. Probably gets worse if he is nervous…
Hope he can settle down and get in a groove. His analysis should be very thorough.

Nervous not withstanding………..his analysis is spot on.
Begins and ends in the “Trenches”

Yes, I suppose, but any one of us has that much analysis. Hell, even Tony Barnhart knows that. In fairness to him, it’s too early to know anything more. We’ll have a better idea by game 3.

I listened to it on my phone so I’m not sure if that affected the audio, but some of his comments were drowned out by the music that played during the segment. Did anyone else have that issue?
As others have mentioned, his delivery could use some improvement, but I’d expect his analysis to be solid. Hoping he finds success in the broadcast booth.

The sound mixing was a problem, yeah.

Damn, CBS Sports didn’t look at G-Day QBRs when looking for an analyst? Bunch of idiots.

Good grief..I thought he did fine.
And while the focus on the offensive line’s questions may be old hat to us (GTP followers), most people follow other teams and haven’t heard it.. Also, maybe one or two of the people that constantly scream for the back up QB every time a play doesn’t go for thirty yards, were watching.
What AM didn’t say was how improved game coaching will play a part in the success of the Dawgs this year (or the inverse of that)
I still blame a couple of the losses on bad coaching decisions. That happens to every coach (See NS Kick Six), but we had an inordinate dose of it last year. Of course Aaron wasn’t going to point to that on the air and I don’t blame him. But it’s the elephant in the room whenever the question is ” What has to happen for Georgia to have a great season?”

Stop the shinanigans, Aaron. You know we love you but the NFL just isn’t that into you and you don’t want to be lumped in with Jesse Palmer and Tim Tebow as SEC QB turned NFL washout turned CFB talking head.
We need a QB coach and probably OC. You love Athens, Athens loves you, what are we waiting for here.

Yep, every time he’s on the TV I’ll be wondering: ‘why isn’t he on our staff?’

I watched the last part of it and in fairness to AM Randy Cross basically threw UGA under the bus as his most “over rated” team nationally this year and for years past. They then went to AM and you could see he was uncomfortable because the host asked him to comment on Cross’s pick. If he had jumped to our defense he would have come off as a homer, instead he timidly agreed with him about UGA not living up to it’s potential. I thought it was an ass move by Cross but that’s who he is. As far as Arron’s not making it in the NFL, we all knew he was too short for the NFL but at least he showed up.
