Really, this is too precious.
“Really cool”? When’s the last time anyone thought PAWWWLLL was cool?

Gus Malzahn: "This SEC Network was supposed to be really cool when it started three or four years ago. Now it's all about trying to get the coach fired."

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Gus is correct but he means the 3-7 time slot.

Pawlll is a pain in the ass, but reflects what drives media these days. Which is sad.

We drive the media. We give it our attention, they get paid.
There’s a reason a fast food burger is never more than 3 minutes away but a good salad is 30 minutes.

I tried to watch SEC network during a commercial break last night and Finebaum had a caller from Alabama on and it was utterly painful on so many levels. The caller could not speak clearly….Finebaum has so many pauses in his speech and they pause then talk over each other, it was horrendous.

What does Gus care? He got his ridiculous extension. If I were him I’d now be hoping to get fired. Being a fired football head coach with a fat buyout is my dream.

It pays his $7 million salary, but it earns its money telling everyone what a dope he is. Maybe Gus can donate some of that salary to a cord-cutting campaign.

As Gus & Pollack strode right past me on their way to the ESPN coverage platform last night, I hollered “HOW ‘BOUT THEM DAWGS Gus!!!” at him & he lightly winced & Pollack giggled to himself a little bit….

Agree with Malzahn. Finebaum is an ass. One listening for a couple of minutes to his 3-7 program and you turn off.
He does it for one reason. He needs a job. When you are that ugly and stupid and can fool a network into a program…well.
He does more to get coaches fired, damages players and coaches, and universities. He does not understand, and he does not give a damn.
It is all about him.
If I was a coach I would never allow myself to be on his show and be interviewed by him. Same for staff and players.
Hope Gus can have some strong support and push on this to dial Finebaum back. Pawlllll is bad for the SEC.
Said this a few days ago in a post.

That’s what Paul did on radio for years in Birmingham. Someone is up, so someone must be down. When they were both up, he went after Richt.
You drive one fan base crazy with anger and pump the other one up. Now it’s just a bigger stage.
I’m sure the conference would rather have 4 hours of Barnhart, but his show wouldn’t pay the bills.

I doubt the league wants that – they would have to take the network off regular cable and go strictly PPV to show Mr. CW blowing the league office for 4 hours per day…

Maybe Pawwwllll could do a show about all the missed calls in that game.
4th and 4 Harris is off-sides on tying TD per video shot.
Simmons called off-sides on blocked punt when video shows he is not.
Those were two big missed calls.
Not counting the thrown punch by Bama player. Not ejected from game, and even Saban bragged about him coming back in game to make a tackle on kickoff.
Not big on officials calls.
But Big 10 failed UGA
