I had no idea until LSU tight end Foster Moreau let it slip yesterday that his offense used pace to keep Georgia’s defense off-balance.
Thanks for cluing me in, AJ-C/Dawgnation. I was at the game and it was a complete mystery to me.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23

TB chimes in… When they pick up the pace, it’s harder to keep up with the pace ($$)

That inability to stuff 3rd/4th down situations, or stop running plays inside the 5 in goalline situations, wasn’t just an LSU or hurry-up thingy. We rarely get any penetration on our DL and it is hard to stop powerful, large folks from getting 1-2 yards, even when you know it is coming. Would love to see some disruption next season.
