He’s 2-2 in really big games, IMHO….Won the SEC Title Game in 17 and the Rose BOWL….Lost the MNC and last years SECCG vs Bama….YMMV

I’d add win over ND to big game as well as last year’s win over Florida.
I’d add ’17 loss to Auburn and ’18 loss to LSU, Sugar Bowl loss to Texas.
I’ve got him at 4-5.

In all reality, none of those games were win or go home with no title of any kind. SEC or MNC.

I think that’s a fair assessment. The rabid dogs made it clear that 10 – 11 win seasons and no SEC Championship and no playoffs was not going to be enough. That was called “mediocre” and by their definition, last year was a mediocre year. Can’t hang relative success on being “just one play” away…been there and done that in 2012. You don’t get a trophy for top recruiting either.
I don’t fully agree with the above, but the Richt haters set a standard and that’s why I don’t see how folks can claim TN Dawg’s take is trolling. Kirby’s had 3 years and delivered one SEC Championship and one major Bowl win. It’s better…but not to the standard we were told to expect.
