“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23

I read every day. Your labor of love is my first stop every day on the internet. I’m an attorney with a busy practice, as are you, and I have no idea how you pull it off. I don’t agree with everything you say but you win me over often – as you have with NIL – and I respect the fact that you are open to opposing opinions. I am a fan of the blog and am so proud that I’ve been here since the game that launched it all. Maybe this is the year, Senator. But if it’s not, I will huddle under the warming glow of the community of commiseration that you have created and feel like I am a part of something bigger than me. Thank you for what you do.

Regarding the chosen song to celebrate Christmas. I would expect nothing less from Senator Blutarsky. I wonder if there’s a Christmas song from his favorite institution – NCAA.

I see that you already found the cactus I was going to send you this Christmas. My friends in Phoenix won’t have to dig it up after all. My Daughter-in-Law sends you a Happy Hanukkah from Ca, along with Holidays greetings. Also, I send a Happy just because my tequila is low.
My vet friends and I thank you for that great and simple story of not labeling others before you find out how brilliant and truly nice they are in their hearts. That does not include my acquaintance who was in the Special Forces in Vietnam before returning to get his PhD in Ecology/Herpetology. He went to FU so that you understand.
