In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23

Steel on target, Riggermon. Ol goatboy was an accommodating 0-3 versus the Dawgs and will have the opportunity to see ’em live but not so up close at Mark Richt Stadium this Thanksgiving weekend. He just has to make the Falcons roster.
Colt Brennan? May he rest in peace. Damn fentanyl.

I’ll second this.
As much as I enjoyed Georgia putting the stones to Hawaii (Still one of my all time favorite UGA games) Colt Brennan’s story should have ended better.

I knew when they showed June Jones tell the players to go out there and show them you belong pregame, he knew they had no business being on the field with us.

ee,
The look on the Georgia players while they did that war dance toward the Georgia sideline was priceless. It was sorta like a pit bull looking at a large steak knowing it was about to be his.

scuba, that team at and after the Florida game had developed a mean streak we haven’t seen in many Georgia teams over the years. My wife said she felt sorry for Colt Brennan toward the end of the game with the absolute beating he took.

Bubble blower, pregame I stated if Hawaii had spent that time practicing instead of war dancing they might be a better football team. My retired Jarhead buddy said if the Dawgs O had spent less time perfecting their moves to Soulja Boy they might not have lost to SC and the vols. Ouch!
EE, I like how you described that D. They had a mean streak and they took out some frustration on Brennan. That punch drunk look in is eyes made me laugh at the time and often afterwards. Not anymore.

I think the way that defense abused Timmy Tears because he couldn’t/wouldn’t run gave them such confidence for the stretch run.

2006 isn’t the first time somebody ended a game against us by throwing it out of bounds on 4th down. David Woodley did it in Tiger Stadium in 78. That game also featured Lindsey Scott returning the 2nd half kickoff for a td.

I remember listening to that game as a student at UGA with my Rugby teammates . Lindsey’s return was electrifying. Maybe somebody can find Larry’s call.

I have that call saved somewhere on a computer. “Lindsay Scott 99 yards! Lindsay Scott out of Jesup Georgia!”
I’m from Jesup and now own a Bulldawg Themed Steakhouse and Tavern there.

You might be the least self promoting reatraunteur I have ever run into. Are you in Jesup or Oconee County?

Lol. I was half asleep earlier. I’m in Jesup. 106 West Pine St. I’ll send some pics and info to the Senator and see if he can help me get word out to our Get The Picture fam.

Briggy1981, that’s only about fifteen minutes off our route to and from I-95 and places South via Hwy 57. We don’t get in a hurry as we used to. Last Memorial Day weekend we took about an hour detour to drink and dine at Bleu Canoe and it was well worth the drive. I’m a big fan of a ribeye sandwich. We’ll see y’all in October.

Looks like your Ga Crown rep is pretty good.

On his final fourth down between the hedges I admit I did love his play. Makes it even better he was the wreck’s QB and his final play against his hated rival.

I think Reggie’s faux pas added to the inspiration of the creator of my favorite blog.

Shoutout to Brandon Cox. He gave us 2 beauties.

I was at the one in Auburn, brutal to watch. Somebody did an excellent job of scouting him out.
Willie Martinez maybe???

My theory was always that Cox’s ‘06/‘07 performances were the payment for some soul-selling seance that took place before 4th and 19 in 2005.

Munson was the best. All those Gawdzilla players, mile long kicks, the clock slow as molasses. What a guy….

Back in the day I started a petition to the NCAA to grant Reggie a 5th year of eligibility. Sadly it died on the vine
