“Being the oldest guy probably in the locker room…”

LOL.  “Probably”?

If you include the coaches, he’s right.

Here’s hoping he has a terrific season.

It does seem like he’s been around for a while.

Thanks for sharing that one. Stay healthy and have that big money first round draft season you’ve worked so hard for.

Like Will Thompson before him, the last remaining recruit by the previous head coach.

Here’s hoping that Rochester also nabs an SEC Championship on his final collegiate lap.

He looked like the oldest guy on the team when he was a recruit in 2015

That’s what I like about college football. What a role model. That, plus he makes beautiful, clean, and mean tackles!

If his NFL dreams don’t come true, Rochester is one of those guys I can definitely seeing moving into coaching at the high school or college level. He has the mentorship thing down cold, as well as the sticktoitiveness you need to survive in coaching. I’m generally not someone who gets down on guys putting their name into the portal and leaving, but as we’re increasingly seeing with guys who transfer and then transfer again, sometimes it pays to stick it out where you are instead of leaving because you don’t get to start when you think you should. I love that Julian Rochester has stuck it out with Georgia. He’s a DGD, and if he goes undrafted and doesn’t get signed as an UDFA, then I hope Kirby brings him on as a GA and begins training him for the life of a coach. I think he’d be a good one!

    Mr. Rochester,
Did you hear that Uiagalelei is going around calling you a pussy?

He’s a DGD. I’m not sure how much playing time he is going to get with our monsters on the DL. But I’m still glad he is on the team.
