How do you beat a dead horse? Well, we can talk about the fact that Georgia fired it’s last coach for another one and still has nothing to show for it.

Looking for logical consistency from the national CFB writers out there is definitely looking for love in all the wrong places. Hah!

The much better argument they could be making about the last four years is how we start the year in the Top-5, but in two out of those four years we haven’t finished the year in the Top-5, but that’s more of a nuanced argument that doesn’t quite allow for hot takes and clickbate, and thus it doesn’t get as much play than the lazier arguments they go with instead.

I don’t really care where we are ranked preseason.

Let’s talk in December/January…winning games by 40 points and blowing up a few opponents scoreboards is gonna’ be fun to watch…(Big talk, but WTF)…

Long as this year doesn’t pan out like 2008, I’m good.

I’m reminded of Life of Brian:

“All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?”

  7. I would like to see who are the 3 media members who have us as preseason #1.

It’s pretty amazing that between 1981-84, we weren’t in the preseason top 5.

I know we all want to see the Dawgs take down Saban and ‘Bama..but even more than that, I want to see the Dawgs take down Clemson and hopefully anOhioSt.
This because of my belief that the Dawgrading is driven by the knowledge that UGA has the resources (facilities, location, recruiting base, fan support, SEC, etc) to become the next great dynasty when they do finally get that snow ball to rollin’. Believe me, they (national sports media outside of the deep south) hate ‘Bama too, but it’s kind of hard to Tidegrade a team that is so accomplished. So Georgia, being next in the peckin’ order, gets pecked on. Dawgrading is in style and will be until the Dawgs pour it on those other conferences’ entries in the CFP.

Let’s just win one and all this stops. Simple.

Next time I’m visiting B-M, I’ll be sure to check that out in the trophy case next to our Recruiting National Championship trophies.
