The opposite of a cannon shot

In Columbia, Luke Doty’s out with a sprained ankle and likely to miss the season opener.  No worries, though, mon.

The Gamecocks will turn to their 12th man.

That’s certainly something.

A walk on quarterback? In this era of QB’s are king? That. Is. Not. Looking. Good.

Saw a couple of highlights of him yesterday. Honestly, he looked better than a lot of QB’s I’ve seen line up behind the ball in Columia. LOL!

The guy who said ‘maybe we should have more than one QB on the roster’ doesn’t seem so crazy after all.

Of all the teams in the SEC, South Carolina is certainly one of them.

They’re gonna be terrible. Vols are gonna be even worse.

Noland is a Georgia boy. Dad is the head coach at Oconee Co and Stephens Co before that. Not sure which school Zeb played. I think it was Oconee. Anyway he started his career at Iowa State, had a couple of those 400 yard Big 12 games and transferred after Purdy emerged. He landed at N Dakota St where, unfortunately for him, Trey Lance was waiting in the wings. He could actually be a good qb, just perhaps not as good as the guys who supplanted him in previous stops.
