Quite the historic track record for today’s opponent:
Saturday will mark the Golden Flashes’ 22nd road trip against a Power 5 opponent since 2013, including well-compensated dates at Ohio State, Penn State, Alabama, Clemson, Auburn, Wisconsin, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and, most recently, Washington and Oklahoma. Their record in those games: 0-21 by an average score of 42 to 9.
Admittedly, that score wouldn’t cover the spread. So…
Bless their hearts. They are going to be so stomped on.
GO DAWGS!!!

I’m in serious danger of losing the Fabris Pool championship, and the wealth of riches that come along with that, if we don’t cover today. My horrible picks have put me in quite the hole so far. I NEED this. (10RC covering would help, too)

There was a bowl-edition Fabris pool a few years ago and I came out on top. Still amazes me because I really suck at playing the spread. It is confirmed every year and I just shake my head at how bad I am.

I haven’t participated before. I did it this season to verify that I shouldn’t bet football games, without any actual financial risk.

It really is amazing. I don’t care enough to actually keep track, but I’d bet that most all of us could pick the winner at a 80% clip, throw a spread on that and we all just look stupid.

I usually have one week where I do really well and then it comes crashing down after. I don’t have the personality to bet or become famous, they would both end the same way.

That’s why Vegas casinos have the big buildings and we don’t.

For perspective, that average score is better than UGA’s opponents have fared this year.

I’m taking my son to his 4th Georgia game. He has only witnessed blowouts against lesser opponents. I hope and think that this will be the same. Go Dawgs!!

Kinda like letting your toddler shower with you. For the rest of his life, he will believe his dad has the biggest hog on the planet.
And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Go Dawgs.

We’ve only taken our kids to a few games, too. They’re still kinda young to get it but they do have fun. I remember being a kid and my dad waking me up at 6 am to drive to Athens. The worst was being beat up after a Friday night high school game and then getting up early to drive to Athens. Now, I look back on it and remember that Dawg Saturdays were the only time we never fought! Lol!
I didn’t mean to make it about me as it was more about getting to illustrate some kind of a point- going to Georgia games became as much about friends and family as watching the game. I hope you guys have a great time.
