One (championship) ring to rule them all, one (championship) ring to find them, One (championship) ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them… at least there’s still something that unites.

They didn’t go last year, did they? Has the White House stopped that for collegiate sports?

My internet says that covid restrictions last spring nixed the traditional WH visit.

assume this is because we went back to back. I don’t recall college teams going?
very cool if they get to go

I seem to think that it was normal for the college champs to get the invite until ‘20. All this covid stuff brought a lot of that kind of thing to a halt. I hope they get to go.

It was common; remember when Clemson, I think it was, got all the Big Macs and Whoppers they could want? 😆

LSU was the last team to go (if you recall the players and that one lady dancing that made the rounds.) Bama and last year’s Dawgs team didn’t get the invite due to COVID.

It would be great to re-establish the tradition of the White House visit. And yes, our mighty team should be feted in front of a humbled cfb nation.
Beyond that, I’d prefer to keep politics out of cfb.

Apologies if this flies out of bounds, but leave it to the Dawgs to have MTG sign a document that addresses Biden as both “honorable” and “President.” How can you not be romantic about college football?

I learned Sunday that some think your post is out of bounds because you mistake some folks for someone who gives a fuck about whether Marjorie Taylor Greene voted against Biden.
Me, I am glad UGA football can give us all some common ground.

You shouldn’t. He was out of bounds.

How is it out of bounds to point out that Marj, who very vocally opposes the validity of our duly elected president, is brought to the table to sign a document acknowledging that Biden is our actual president, by the amazing sport of college football? He’s just pointing out how this sport can unify. The poster is ruled in bounds.

Always be ‘crootin’. The WH is one of many places your young man may visit as a proud natty champ. Commit to the G!

Just don’t take any dick pics while you’re there, Dawgs.

Hope they would invite any members of the 2021 Champs to join in that would be really cool celebrating the “ back to back Championships!

Does GT still get to go to the WH every day after practice?😜

I hope this experience is re-instated. A visit to the White House would be a lifetime memory for everyone of the them. Those are hard to come by sometimes in life, but they have 2 already!

May need to wait to see if the same person doing the inviting is the same person who greets the team when they arrive.
