Kiffin watch: coming soon to a neighborhood near you.

Don’t say you haven’t been warned.

Lane Kiffin will embark on a Big Orange Caravan tour of the Southeast early next week.

The first dinner stop is in Atlanta, on the 20th of this month.  Don’t tell me there won’t be a few flacks from the UT Athletic Department holding their breaths when Junior gets up to speak.

I just hope he lives up to expectations.

UPDATE: By the way, in the interest of accuracy, I should note it turns out that Junior’s second phone call to Alshon Jeffery wasn’t a secondary violation, but rather, in the words of UT’s director of public relations (now there’s a nice gig if you can get it), a “national letter of intent infraction” (h/t Capstone Report).  The best part of the story is that an assistant Tennessee SID confirmed the NCAA violation to The State newspaper.  That guy may be looking for a gas station job in the near future, I fear.

UPDATE: Chris Brown looks at it from Paulus’ point of view.
