if a state patrol officer takes my vuvuzela, is that state action infringing on my 1st amendment right to free speech. perhaps more importantly, am i so nerdly to be beyond redemption for asking such a question?

I think traditions are like rivalries; folks think that they can be manufactured overnight. Anyone seen those towels at UGA games again? I didn’t think so.

Thanks for the link to the TSK posting; I don’t think any of us needed to see that to know that UGA has been underachieving! Hopefully that will change soon.

Finally, I guess that’s one more reason to loathe Bush and USC and everything happening at the LA institution. If that guy hadn’t been so arrogant, imagine what UF might actually be like. I don’t think there’s any way Tebow actually carries that team w/o Harvin.

The UGA defense seemed to be rated well below the offense, at least by Rivals. Maybe it wasn’t all Willie.

When will the USC apologises realize that the NCAA is not a court of law. They are not going to give a big rats butt about technical errors in the evidence. They are going by the smell test and this smells to high heaven. Pete should have known what his top player was up to and his family too it’s called compliance.

Do you think the Gainesville Sun writer honestly believes that neither Georgia or South Carolina is a top 25 team, or was he just taking shots?

A Fla writer not putting UGA in the top 25? I haven’t been this shocked since Ellen came out of the closet! USC was nailed for “lack of institutional control”. The football coaching staff has to bear some of the blame, letting movie stars, rap stars, pro athletes, and agents wander around the practice field freely shows a complete lack of control. Pete’s pro experence may have served him badly here, pro athletes can hobnob with whomever they choose, access to college students must be limited, lest something like the Bush incident happen. The lions share of the blame must fall on the AD. Hiring Kiffin was a huge mistake, USC needed a clean guy with a spotless rep. Can anyone tell me why that AD still has a job?

If you want to hear what vuvzelas in the SEC would sound like, go look up some highlight clips on Youtube and press on the soccer ball below the screen.
