COMMENTS:

  • Conference breakdown:  SEC 7, Pac-12 4, ACC 3, Big-12 3, Big Ten 1, AAC 1.  Regional bias or reality?
  • I’m a little surprised 5-0 Texas Tech, which has a win over a ranked opponent, didn’t get a sniff this week.  Also, that somebody left Stanford off his/her ballot.
  • Not exactly sure what happened, but three ballots accidentally were counted towards week seven.  I’ve made the corrections here.  Fixed.
  • Missouri pops up, just like it did on the AP.
  • I’d say there’s a pretty solid consensus around a top eleven.

Looks like 73 people submitted ballots, but you only had 71 No. 1 picks. Is that normal? And somebody left Georgia off their ballot. ANG ‘IM!

    Pardon me being Mr. Math.

  2. FWIW, I forgot the Monday deadline and went to put my ballot in this morning thinking the deadline was tonight. I noticed it showed up week seven and backed off. Hate for someone to incidentally submit a week six ballot and it be included in week seven. But might be worth looking into…unless you already have.
