Georgia’s getting a lot of favorable publicity over sending some recruits hand-drawn portraits signed by Coach Richt. (Although you might want to get your facts straight about Alvin Kamara’s present whereabouts, ESPN dudes.) My favorite bit from that piece:
One rival SEC assistant coach said he wished he thought of the portraits and immediately sent his recruiting staff to come up with something “better.”
Sculpture comes to mind.
One thing, though. John Infante’s got a little cold water to toss on the effort.
If that turns out to be a real problem, I hope it’s nothing worse than one of those “it was worth it” secondary violations.

Im sure UGA will get slapped with something. I had that worry when I first saw the story yesterday. God are recruiting rules ridiculous. I do think the penalty will probably be worth it. Lots of buzz.

Seems like this isnt the first time I have seen one of these recruiting sketches, but nice to get a little buzz for it.
I am sure one of those recruits got one with a cream cheese stain on the back and now we are going to get nail with improper letterhead and impermissible access to a condiment.

Richt said the players have been begging for an iPad- more information to check out before they go to bed.

Well with this being an issue at UGA, then you know the NCAA will try to make and example out of us. They will probably do a school wide investigation of other possible wrong doings. With this being UGA we will tell them every single thing we have ever done bad, of course, we will get 0 mercy for coming forth.
