Steve Spurrier opens weekly news conference with: "We are still and will always be embarrassed by our performance in the last game."

Let’s hope he’s expressing a similar sentiment in a couple of weeks.

“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
Decent.

+1. Maybe he’d like another shot at his one word assessment of this team.

The Ole Ball Sack surely doesn’t include himself in that?!? Isn’t it the players fault?

Spurrier is genuinely shamed. Corch is would just be mad that somebody else did something wrong; he couldn’t possibly be fallible.

I hope they score 100 on ecu, or we are totally set up for a trap in 2 weeks.

While I appreciate your sentiment and understand your motive for same, I would rather have ECU score 100 on SCU. 🙂

Maybe he’ll burn all three timeouts to start the ECU game.

LOOK THERE IS NO ONE COACH I FEAR MORE IN A BIG GAME IN HIS OWN PARK THAN SPURRIER. NO ONE! AND WE KNOW HE CAN OUT COACH CMR ANY DAY. OUR ONLY HOPE IS PRUITT AND IN HIM I HAVE FAITH. AMEN BROTHER!

I don’t doubt he will be implementing a game plan for us. He is dangerous when backed up against a wall. I just think that if we implement a good game plan against their weaknesses. We can win the ballgame, maybe shove his ass through the wall. We just need to keep our head on straight and play one game at a time.

It will forever be in the mind of Steve Spurrier.

Senator…the idea anything Spurrier does has some connection to Dickhead is insulting on a level even Spurrier does not deserve.

Yep. No matter the ECU score, his hardon for the Dawgs is always there. Maybe we can give him a dose of saltpeter that ten lbs of Viagra can’t cure.

He has an everlasting hatred of UGA. He will have his team ready and the fans will be ready. We have just got to ride out the first quarter storm and not piss ourselves like the last time in Columbia.
