Today’s winner in “The Most Irrelevant Question” contest

I can’t imagine an answer I could be less interested in learning than the one to this query.

And to top it off, he gave the most obvious answer ever.

Do you think they would play the championship game in Madison Square Garden? Maybe right after the dog show.

“Who played in the godaddy.com bowl?” is an equally uninteresting question.

Wow, Richt can’t even get his team into the FNIT (Football NIT) Just another goal that UGA football failed to obtain. That Richt sure can coach ’em up!

Because finishing in the Top 10 at year’s end eight times in 14 years is so failing, at least to a few. That is in the 92nd percentile nationally more years than not, and compiled while playing in the very best conference in CFB, with the most restrictive suspension policy in said conference. Yep, there is plenty to be continually negative about with such a man who conducts himself so well 24/7, 365.

Preach on, you have an impressive group of followers here that also can’t seem to get it. That 15% of UGA fans can want to be an anchor around a fine man’s legs is sad, but not surprising in today’s society, I guess. We will win the East this year, probably the SEC, but it won’t matter to those with an agenda. Haters gotta hate.

        That’s a bold statement, Mac.

Have to admit, it is too early, but it is very hard to not be optimistic about this team. All I ask for is to find a run-stopping front to keep me from looking over served on Kool Aid. This squad looks very close to being the real deal.

I’m right there with ya Mac. I have really high hopes for this team. Obviously there are a couple HUGE holes to fill. Namely, QB, MLB, and C as well as finding a good rotation along the DL. That being said, having the RB’s we are blessed with, the QB won’t have to have Aaron Murray numbers in order for us to have a dangerous offense. I think getting Ganus and Amaechi in as transfers is huge. Especially Ganus since he has college experience and is a tackling machine (even against the SEC competition he played last year). With the stud OLB’s we have, we just need average MLB’s and I believe we have that and some. I also believe Wynn could turn out to be one heck of a center. From what I’ve read, he has the physical tools and more importantly a great football IQ. And I’m super pumped about the recruits coming in along the DL. Ledbetter and Thompson have the pedigree to come in and be dominant from the get go. And the main reason I am optimistic about the possible result of all of these questions is due to the coaching staff. Pruitt has changed the culture of UGA football and is one hell of a coach (and possibly a better recruiter). Along with Rocker and Red Bull, I believe that they’ll be able to figure out the best players at each position and coach them up. Not to mention the new strength and conditioning coach which I expect to take our team to a whole new level in that department. I know I’ve been chugging the cool-aid of the off season reports but it is truly difficult for me now to be super excited about this upcoming season! Now let’s just pray for a safe and uneventful spring and summer! Go Dawgs! GATA!!!

And there is no reason to be gloomy in March for all the reasons you stated. Yes, there are questions to be answered, but not nearly the same severity as last year. I will feel this ends well until it doesn’t.

Right on, Mac. The naysayers keep validating everything you say about them. They won’t go on a limb with their predictions nor will they say what validates what they say when refuting, but you can always count on their negativity. They are gutless and include a welsher in their flock.

This is incoherently idiotic. Rather than say expand to 8 teams that should have been there at the beginning, this guy wants to create a separate next four. Duh! on him and the NIT..

“incoherently idiotic” nice. Nah, just another McGuire lad who hasn’t got out of his St. Patrick’s Day fog. Dollar to a dime he is a yankee trying to pretend he understands CFB.
