Jacob Park looks for a place where the grass is greener.

It’s official now.

I guess he finally took Richt’s phone call.

  1. …and he’s right. Good luck Jacob. Sucks for us but you can’t ask someone to hamstring their own future.

  2. Best move for Park, good luck except if you ever tee it up against UGA.

Bummer. He was a good player. Helped the team a ton last year, getting everyone prepared, actually competing as a scout teamer.

      • I loved Dusty when I was a kid watching WCW in Saturday afternoons on TBS before the Braves game that night. The Nature Boy released a statement yesterday that was a great tribute to his rival, mentor, and friend, the American Dream. RIP …

At the end of the day he feared the competition after finishing spring up a distant third.

      • I wonder where all of those posters from Bluto’s earlier post “bout this” are? I guess we now know what Park wants to do huh? Good for him and God bless Cannon Dawg. Jeepers. Ya’ll want to ditch the Georgia way? Throw down with Saban,Mal, Corch… win the SEC… the NC? Doesn’t matter now… we are in it to win it. Go fetch your tissue. We are in the semipro. Park didn’t have the stones for it. Bless his heart. Moving on.

other than the spring game I never saw him play in college….I did watch him in practices and live at the Army All American game, where he was the least accurate quarterback I have seen play in game…never understood the hype or the sentiment that he was the best quarterback on the roster…wish him luck in the future as long as he’s out of conference

I hope he moves out of the SEC, but there may be a place for him at a rival school. Please…not GT or Auburn…we’ve seen ex-dawgs go to those places and have success against Georgia..
Best of luck to him. Seems like most on here understand his decision.

I saw him play in practice, nowhere near as good as Ramsey or Bauta. I wish him luck, but he isn’t going to come back and haunt us. If he really wants playing time, he needs to go to a smaller school. CSU would be a good place for him.

I mean, when was the last time a MNC / Heisman qb transferred because of competition? The kid is talented, not doubt, but he is not our guy. Ignoring the competition this year, Eason was informed early on in the process that we would take a transfer… It’s his show. The writing was on the wall. And for this year… Time to hope for ~20 ppg and no TOs!

  15. Several coaches in the SEC could use his talent and potential. Park, like Spurrier knows the in and outs of Georgia FB. Rut Row!!🏈🎈
