My kind of woman

I know it’s non-Dawg – hell, it’s non-football – but when somebody’s really got it together, I gotta share.

You go, girl!  Have one on me.

I like her style. When I get to the 80 mark, I will be eating and drinking anything and everything I want.

‘……hell, it’s non-football…..’??? What? It is as much football as the laces. Booze (mostly PBR) was as much a part of the Athens football weekend as the student ID ticket…at least for me. Then there was aspirin, plenty of fluids, vertigo, anorexia, memory loss, the apologies and nystagmus. And ‘how did that dent get in the car door’ – ‘did we hit an iceberg’, questions? All to be repeated for the next home game. And most of it is part of a database of wonderful memories (except the trip to Athens General ED for a ‘shot’).

    • Apparently a nobody from Mississippi thinks our fanbase’s obsession with our booze is holding our team back. What that guy doesn’t realize is that we are just trying to extend the our lives to give us more opportunities to see if our beloved Bulldogs can win another National Championship!

For me, Bud before and after the game and Jack during. You’re right, I could not imagine Ga football as a student without booze.

    • …and this is yet another reason I tune in here: steve got me referenceing “nystagmus”, a word that sounds truly horrendous but winds up as possibly a dainty flirt tactic.

      Godspeed, Steve!

I think it works. My wife’s aunt lived to be 107 and up until the last 6 months she had a scotch on the rocks every evening. We used to give her a bottle for her birthday.

She should be crediting her freakish genetics instead, but either way I absolutely love her spirit. Good for her.

I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.

I’m gonna send her some longevity cookies. Beer makes you fart.

If I wasn’t married to this comely wench, I’d drink a beer with the gal and whisper dirty ditties into her ear. Then I’d drink her beer.

When my kids begin to talk rest home, I’m going on a world tour, starting in Rio. Then I’m headed for ….uuhh….um…anyway, gonna use up the flyer miles.
