The Georgia Way vs. The Process: oh, it’s on now.

Needless to say, I’ll be awfully curious to see how this plays out.

Jimmy Williamson strenuously objects.

Jonathan Ledbetter is the tell on whether UGA breaks through with a championship during the Eason era..

If I wake up on game day and find Jonathan Ledbetter in the lineup I’ll know we have a new sheriff in town. If he’s not- more outback bowls.

Hurry, if you get your FOIA request in by the close of business today, you might get the info by kickoff.

I think Rochester should be allowed to compete for the first game. A drunk blonde with her tubes tied is more dangerous than a BB gun.

Agreed on Rochester, but also think he should sand wood smoothly, paint and atone for his destruction by gaining respect for the work necessary to correct his loss of appreciation for property. I’m anxious to see him play with his UGA chip-on-shoulder attitude. Think that can fuel a big man for big plays.

Absolutely. I went to a pretty strict Christian high school. If you horsed around and damaged school property, guess what? You got to spend some quality time with the custodian learning how much work it was to maintain the place.

    oh wow.

I appreciate taking each incident individually and handling the punishment in the way you deem fit.

Misdemeanor alcohol charges? Is there more to that story than those charges would indicate?

Our former coach also would not confirm/deny suspensions to the press, but we knew the policies in place and knew he would simply enforce them. So the real question here is…have we changed our policies? I don’t think so, and I also think Kirby will enforce them.

  8. Kirby is just implying that Ledbetter was none of his business and that’s a student privacy issue. Next question. LOL.

I absolutely think he should play. All those that say “rules are rules” and want everything followed should also realize that illegal searches are part of the rules, too. So, legally, he’s off, and should not be suspended.

That said, this is the sort of thing that should not be ignored as if nothing happened, but can be addressed internally in a variety of legitimate ways that will get his attention. I wouldn’t want it ignored completely, but rules are rules and the illegal search got the case dropped.

You are really getting your S in an uproar. You could apologize, but that would make you the sorry S. And that would get your big S in a sling.
