    WB stadium holds, what, around 82k? I’m guessing there will be 50-55k in attendance today, with a rather subdued atmosphere.

    Not much of a home field advantage for SCU, which is fine with me.

    I’m not sure how much of the quiet is storm-related. We have family in Columbia, and used to visit regularly, and are always amazed by how dead the city is on Sunday mornings. It just seems bizarre for a university town, and exceedingly weird coming from Athens where we have such a strong Sunday brunch culture.

    The city really does feel deserted until sometime mid-afternoon on Sundays. Interesting that even a conference game doesn’t change that.

    Hah!

    Yeah, it was pretty sparse about 9:30am when we got there.

    Filled up later, though, and was gridlocked for about an hour after the game, even after half the Cock fans bailed out mid fourth quarter.

    Me. on the way to the game “Okay everyone–we are parked diagonally from that big space dildo!”

    And man, I love my new daughter, and am only concerned about one thing with her–“why did you choose to marry my idiot son?”
