“Paul’s just warming up. He’s on mile 4 of a marathon.”

Welcome back, my friends, to the show that never ends.

According to the report, he is adding weekly in-studio “SportsCenter” segments. His four-hour radio/TV gig also will add an hour.

The network will fly Finebaum from his Saturday “SEC Nation” campus pregame show to Connecticut every weekend during the season, giving him a high-profile perch on Sunday morning “SportsCenter” episodes to analyze the college football weekend.

I can only hope that one day we’ll look back on this and wonder what in the hell Mickey was thinking.

As irritating as I find him, you have to respect how he has turned a local/regional radio show with a very narrow spotlight into a seat on a big stage that continues to grow every year. Have you ever known anyone who thinks, I need some good analysis/advice on football this week, I need to tune in to the wisdom of a great thinker like FBomb? We know he isn’t getting these expanded roles because of his looks, so there really are people who respect his opinions on football? Outside the state of Alabama? Dang!

” we’re so glad you could attend, come inside, come inside”……this talking head brings nothing new to the table. The wwl ratings are in such disrepair/decline, they’ll throw anything against the wall to see if it sticks. If those in charge of increasing viewership at the wwl think that getting ‘alice from allabastor’ to call in is an improvement……..

Amazingly Finebum seems to know very little about the players and the actual game itself but follows the politics of college football closely. A sign of the times I guess. I can always count on him to help me with my 3:15 nap every day.

How was that video a ‘heated’ discussion between the boner-in-a-coat and Saban? Nothing can be heard with clarity. They could be swapping butt-chugging anecdotes…After all, Paul did go to school in the ‘cheeks’ capital of CFB (Knoxville) where the ‘reverse enema’ (AKA- liquid excavator) was made infamous and is a material activity of Orange Greek Week.
Really, the only notable take-away from that prominent video is that even when Paul is sitting…. Nick still has to look up….or stand on his tippy toes.
Oh, and is the network bagman flying Mr. CFB to the studio, as well? Now that would be a case of journalistic subtraction by addition. Fineballs is tolerable because he knows he is full of shit and is getting a payday despite it. Plus he is kind to retarded people who call his show and rant about melted Slurpys and cold drive thru fried chicken.
Mr CFB, however, really thinks he is an authority and not a cartoon character.

I can count on one hand the total minutes I’ve watched Finebaum. I’ve given up on these shows. I just tune in for the live events. Once upon a time, I watched the CFB wrapup show late on Saturday, but I can’t remember the last time I watched that either.

All anybody outside of the south has to do is to tune in FBomb and reinforce their believe that the south is still illiterate and rednecks (not that there is anything wrong with that). His callers lower the entire IQ of the South by 100 points. I for one am embarrassed by it. He is a smirky, condescending little S as far as I’m concerned.
